Foundational 3D with modo 401
Foundational 3D with modo 401 is geared toward the person who is new to 3D. The series takes you through
the 3D language explaining the most common terms you'll run into. It then goes through common modeling techniques such as
CAD, NURBS, Subdivision Surfaces and
illustrating the difference between NURBS and SubD modeling. We then look at materials, the camera, lights and finally
rendering. As we work through all of these topics we make use of modo to help the new modo user become more familiar with
the interface and how it relates to these topics.
The course was designed to be used in conjunction with The beginner's guide to modo 401". Purchasing that course is not
required but it is recommended if you are new to modo 401 and you are starting with Foundational 3D with modo 401. You may purchase both courses
together at a discounted price here or purchase Foundational 3D with modo 401 by itself
here.
